The f12 was debuted at Geneva motor show in 2012.  The f12 replaced the mental 599 series. The naturally aspirated 6.3-liter Ferrari V12 engine in the F12berlinetta has won the International Engine of the Year Awards 2013. The word Berlinetta in Italian means little limousine.

The Aventador was launched at the 2011 Geneva motor show. Soon after the launch Lamborghini announced that it had already sold 12 models. Usually supercar companies only make less that a thousand but there will been 4000 Lamborghini Aventadors made.

Ferrari says "The F12berlinetta’s design strikes the perfect balance between maximum aerodynamic efficiency and the elegant proportions typical of Ferrari’s front-engined V12 cars"

The main front grill not only looks good but also helps to cool the award winning Ferrari v12. on either side of this are two small electronically controlled guide vanes that help to cool the f12s brakes.

The f12 is the most aerodynamic Ferrari road car ever made. The aerodynamics were developed hand-in-hand with its styling, using CFD (computational fluid dynamic) simulations along with more than 250 hours of testing in the Ferrari Wind Tunnel. Research focused not only external airflows but internal ones too.

The most eye-catching thing about the f12 is the rear. Like the LaFerrari and soon the 488 gtb it has a formula1 fog break light. But the thing that turns heads the most is the circular t shape. This isn’t just for looks, it some how creates a low pressure area behind the car. Also like the aventador it has a quad exhaust system.

Like I said before the f12 is the most aerodynamic Ferrari ever made. On the bonnet it has canals that funnel the air over the bonnet under a bridge in the bodywork, along the side of the car and out the back. Even the under side of the car is designed for aerodynamics with canals running from the front to the back all this increases down force up to 76%. This car has the looks of a real Ferrari.

The Lamborghini Aventador has a stealth jet/alien spaceship look with its aggressive and angular front end and rear. The Aventador has many enormous air intakes on the side and front. Inside these vents the bodywork is painted black for the feel of depth

Like I said the aventador has a very angular rear. Its rear break lights are in the shape of three arrows pointing outwards. It also has led’s just bellow the rear spoiler and just above the Lamborghini logo.

Allot of people know that the Aventador exhaust is a flame making machine. It has a quad exhaust system that is covered by one rectangular piece that allows for maximum flames.

To increase aerodynamics the Aventadors rear wing is part of the bodywork. So when it’s extended you can see into the car.  Although being enormously big at 4.7 meters long and 2.03 meters wide, that’s as long as two new fiat 500 hundreds front to back its surprisingly agile. Apparently it’s the easiest Lamborghini to drive ever. This is because of the new very grippy wheels.

The aventador has Lamborghini doors (scissor doors). This means that the doors open up instead to out. This allows for the driver to drive along with the doors up and not really increase the width of the car. They are also good for when the car is parked in a tight spot and there’s not much room for movement.

The Ferrari F12s interior is based on both being sporty but also very sophisticated and comfortable. The F12s interior is full of leather and carbon fiber. There are many storage compartments and lots of space to move around for both the driver and the passenger. Unlike most modern cars the f12 does not have a center console for the sat nav is used in the display.

Since the f12s engine it in the front of the car the boot is in the back like most normal cars. Since there isn’t a 6.3Liter v12 in the back there enough room for a boot that can fit as you can see in the photo a golf bag and still have lots of room left for bits and bobs.

The Aventadors stunning design is continued in the interior, with the citation of hexagons and trapezia that can be found on the bodywork. As a buyer you can customize things such as the stitching and the color of the leather.

The center console looks like something from a stealth jet, with a start stop button straight from top gun. It also controls the sat nav, air con and what mode the aventador is set in, either it be strada, sport or corsa. The display has something called a TFT which means it only has the things you need like the rev counter, speedo, time and temp

A classic Lamborghini has a big v12 in the rear, and this cars is no exception. The Aventador has an enormous 6.5L V12 that allows for 691 break horse power, 509nm of torque, 0.60 in 2.9 seconds and a mental top speed of 217 mph or 350 kmph.

The f12s engine won the award of engine of the year in 2013. Unlike almost every supercar the f12 doesn’t have the engine in the back but rather in the front. The engine is 6.3L v12 that’s good for 731bhp and a top speed of around 340kmph.
